Formatting in School WebMail System

So far as I know, the Mercer WebMail system is the worst email system. The worst thing in it is losing format.

I use Gmail, hotmail, and yahoomail. However, no matter how I send the mail, I will always experience some difficculties in format. Sometimes, the entire message is just messed up. Sometimes, the original message will be displayed under the messed letters and numbers.

To solve this problem, I stopped sending email to @mercer.edu and @student.mercer.edu suffixes using Gmail. Instead, I tried Mercer student email and Hotmail. I do not want to use the student email since it is inconvenient and the interface is really ugly. So far, the hotmail has done well in sending emails to @mercer.edu and @student.mercer.edu suffixes.

However, there is on exception. I experienced one case that I lost email format in the Reply mode, which is the reply from one of my professors to my hotmail. All the blanks and Enter breaks were disappeared in the quoted section. I just could nto believe that I did not send the email in a nice format, and I double-checked the orginal email I sent. Fortunately, I did it very well, and the format is well kept. It was weird that the format was lost during the replying process. After testing for times, I figured out that the hotmail message must be entered manually in order to remember the Enter breaks. This is why I lost format becuase I was simply copying the sent message and simply sending in a different name in order to reach the high efficiency. Therefore, I entered some Enter breaks manually from the end of each paragraph, and the email displayed correctly in the quoted section in Reply mode of the Mercer Webmail.

In conclusion, it is necessary to manually enter Enter breaks in hotmail while sending emails to Mercer WebMail suffixes. This will generate a nice new line without the risk of losing format.
